More Than

a Picture

Look back on these moments

in years

to come and treasure them forever.

Hoof or Hand, feel the connection, see the story.

Hey, I'm Charlotte.

My early photography journey began with a compact digital camera gifted to me for my birthday. As a child I was always outdoors, so this was predominantly where most of my photos were taken. I also had a wild obsession with horses and was always trying to capture their natural beauty and movement. I have found this appreciation for nature really goes hand in hand with both the equestrian and rural wedding photography.

I love the whole dark and moody aesthetic. Each image is a reflection of my fascination with transforming ordinary subjects into striking, thought-provoking compositions. I focus on capturing raw, authentic moments, often highlighting textures and details that might go unnoticed. This style allows me to explore themes of beauty found in the shadows, inviting viewers to experience a narrative that resonates on a deeper level.

My approach to a photo is unobtrusive and subtle. I want to capture what makes you, you! And to do this, I like to watch and observe. Sometimes you'll even forget i'm there! This is what I believe makes the true emotion shine through the camera,

I am a true creative at heart. I have always loved taking photos, painting and writing music. I studied music composition at university before turning my passion for photography into a career.

I also love horses, having been around them since I was 7 years old.  I would beg my parents to take me to the yard, just so I could be around them. I find horses very calming. They are very observant, and watch and listen, which is a very similar approach I take with my photography!

I have a very quirky, spotted gelding called Obi who makes me laugh every day, and a cat called Cosmo (although we call him dog).
